Where does your tap water actually come from? A hands-on watershed model shows students how their choices reach the river.
Using a tabletop watershed model and real local water samples, students trace how runoff, litter, and land use affect the streams and rivers near their school. The program ends with a class action plan students can carry out that week.
Great fit for Earth Day assemblies and science-standards units on human impact.
